The company was established in 1973 and have successfully been trading for more than 50 year. The foundations on which the company started are still relevant today as we pride ourselves on the level of service that we provide along with our attention to detail to ensure work is carried out to current standards, providing value for money operating with the principles of integrity and honesty.

In 2011 both Greg Brett and Richard Potts successfully completed a management buyout, both now working in excess of 33 years with the company. Both of them have fond memories of the company’s original founder John Fell along with his Family Val, Ceri and Ron who dedicated much of their life to the early days of Treforest Tiling and provided the business with a solid foundation.

Our staff and subcontractors are important to us and we continually invest in training and apprenticeships to grow and develop our workforce. Director Greg Brett has been actively involved with Roof Training at Wales National Roof Training Group and with CITB and City and Guilds helping develop new roofing qualifications in Wales.

The company takes an active role as a trade member of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) a source of technical and safety advice and an important recognition for the company. Our Director Greg Brett was past Regional Chair and current Regional Board member for NFRC South West as well as sitting on the Roof Slating & Tiling Technical Committee and Housing Group, supporting other regional members with advice and guidance.

Many of the developments we are involved with achieve NHBC Pride in the Job awards including past Seal of Excellence and Regional Award Winner.

In recognition of our dedication to Safety Standards we have won the NFRC Safety Gold Roofing Award in 2023 and previous years.

Health and safety, financial and environmental accreditation is carried out by SMAS as part of Safety Schemes in Procurement.
